I got kicked out of a job last year. It happened fast. I took two days off when my uncle died. When I came back, they made me finish my work, then cut me off.
For two months, I'd done everything. Front-end, design, even stuff I didn't know. They wanted backend too. In the end, they said I wasn't good. Said I should be grateful they told me why. Most places don't bother.
What did I learn? Companies aren't your friends. Good work doesn't always save you. Sometimes, things just suck. But you learn, and you move on.
